Spot changes in registry and system files

SysTracer is a system tool that helps you find changes applied to different items and areas in your computer - changes that could be the result of malicious software.

To spot these changes, SysTracer performs a system scan recording information about files and folders, registry entries, system services, drivers, currently active processes, loaded libraries (DLL) and apps scheduled to run at system start-up.

SysTracer then uses all this information to create a complete snapshot of your system and save it for later reference. By comparing this snapshot with another one you take in the future, after installing a program or cleaning up the system for example, you can see which files and registry items were changed – meaning anything that was created, modified or deleted.

You can create as many different snapshots as you need to and export the data to HTML. On the downside, SysTracer is a bit complicated on the tech side, and less experienced users may have problems getting to grips with it.

Use SysTracer to find any changes in the files, folders, registry entries and other areas of your system.

PROS

  • Create as many system snapshots as you need
  • Exports data to HTML
  • Complete system scans
